After Taemin debuted, I was practicing alone when (Taemin) came to visit me. Then, he asked me [how to dance this certain] choreography, and I have a memory of (Taemin) learning from me. I felt really good that moment.
I think we practiced a lot together, rather than one person doing less than the other. Like I said before, there is a sense of competitiveness between trainees so in order to not lose, they practice-
Rather than thinking it as a competition, I think-
Why do you say it like that when I said it like this?
For me, it's like that. Compared to Taemin, I didn't know a lot about being a 'singer' and when I first came in [to the company], Taemin was so good at dancing. So instead of competing, I thought that I should learn from him, and I actually did learn a lot of dancing from Taemin. And then, when Taemin first debuted and I was left alone, a lot of people asked me if I felt jealous or the need to compete since we're the same age but [Taemin] debuted first. Like earlier [on the show], I always say this, I was in the situation of learning and I thought it was natural that I wasn't to debut.
